Success@Work

What is Success@Work?

Success@Work™ is a comprehensive assessment cluster created by Predictive Success to give a holistic view of the individual being assessed. Success@Work measures the individual's behavior, cognitive ability, and influencing skill. Additionally, for managers only, we offer the Multiple Source Survey, a global best practice real time measure of "how are they doing" as a leader.

What it measures

PI® Predictive Index® Behaviour Survey

The PI® Behavioural Survey has been measuring the natural behaviors of individuals since 1955. Natural behaviour is a major contributor/inhibitor to job performance at any level of the organization.

Job Model Pro - Performance Requirement Options™ (PRO)

The Performance Requirement Options™ (PRO) defines very specifically the behavioural demands for any position at any level. More complex validity studies can also be built based on performers currently in the position.

PLI - Professional Learning Indicator™

The PLI is a specific measure of one's general cognitive ability shown to be the best available predictor of job related learning. Available in 31 languages and built to be culturally neutral.

ISAT - Influencing Skills Assessment Tool™

The ISAT is a validated specific measure of one's ability to influence people, events, and opportunities. Influence is a critical skill at all levels of an organization.

SSAT - Selling Skill Assessment Tool™

The SSAT specifically measures the active skill of a person challenged to be successful in a consultative sales process.

MDS - Multiple Source Survey

The MDS is a validated source of data about how a "leader" at any level is performing. This benchmark measure is core to creation of a dual performance appraisal system. Additionally, the MDS is ideal as a pre and post assessment around activities such as coaching or leadership training.

Fall PI® User Group Meeting a success!

Deborah Bugeja, Talent Manager for Toromont CAT & Bob Woodcock Managing Principal Predictive Success   Fall PI User Group meeting 2011

The Fall PI® User Group meeting was held at the Toromont CAT facility in Concord (north of Toronto) on October 13. The session was attended by 14 trained GTA area PI analysts. The Facilitator Bob Woodcock led with a well-received talk on the opportunity to leverage assessments in greater depth. Bob cited two studies showing that now 61% of Canadian businesses are using at least one assessment. The report also showed that companies are now exploring additional uses for assessments like Predictive Index® outside of just hiring. Talent development and succession planning were amongst the top additional uses of assessments.

Deborah Bugeja, Talent Manager for Toromont CAT did a most impressive talk on how she has taken PI to new levels of acceptance and alignment with the "people plans" at this fast growing national company. Deborah wowed the crowd with how she has taken PI to line managers with a great hockey game orientation presentation and also how she has taken PI as the foundation for their high potential dashboard. It was wonderful to see this PI community leader showcase what we call 'next practice' for PI. The other PI analysts were seeing ideas that they could take back to transform their own businesses.

The introduction of the new PLI™ was discussed and how it relates to PI, the introduction of the new second phase performance dashboard and also we talked about the upcoming huge improvements to accessPI™ and the new data modeling outputs that are on the way.

Big thanks to all who attended and our hosts at Toromont CAT were exceptional!

Foresters™successful partnership with Children's Miracle Network reflects our shared commitment to improve the health and well-being of children and families. Since 1990, Foresters has helped Children's Miracle Network raise more than $330 million to ensure all children have access to the quality, specialized health care they deserve.

Children are different. They need health care that focuses on their unique needs, involves their parents from start to finish and is provided in places designed to be kid-sized and child friendly. Children require extra time, extra monitoring, specialized medications, and caregivers with the skills and compassion to understand the needs of children.

That's why all children need children's hospitals. And that's why Foresters is proud to support children's hospitals across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom through Children's Miracle Networks Radiothon and Champions Across the United Kingdom programs.

Partnership Timeline

  • 1990: Foresters begins supporting Children's Miracle Network by fundraising through the Bowling for Miracles program and other grassroots events.
  • 1996-2005: Foresters is the title sponsor of the Children's Miracle Network Champions Across America and Champions Across Canada programs.
  • 1998: Foresters becomes the founding sponsor and international underwriter of the Radiothon program in the US and Canada.
  • 2007: Foresters becomes the founding sponsor of Children's Miracle Network's expansion to the United Kingdom, including support for Radiothon and Champions Across the United Kingdom programs.

Providing hope and protecting the future.
It's what Foresters and Children's Miracle Network share in common.
Together, our partnership is making miracles happen,
one child, one future, at a time.
